What We Do
Intuitive Organics produce high quality organic cotton t-shirts which have been fairly traded and screen printed using water based dyes in a non-discharge process. We would rather sacrifice profit margins than compromise our ethical or environmental ethos but the garments must also be of the highest quality so that it's your first choice out of the wardrobe.Through this conscientious process we believe that we can offer high quality clothing with the lowest possible environmental impact. Organic cotton is not a compromise on quality, instead organic cotton has the benefit that no chemicals have been used in the production of the cotton fibre while also being softer than most of the usual mass produced cotton garments.....So what?
The chemicals used in intensive farming are considered responsible for the death of 20,000 people each year through poisoning as the run off leaches into water courses. Most of the organic cotton is grown in India or Turkey and, through conscientious purchases, we can all play a part in helping these regions of the world to develop in a more sustainable manner. With the benefit of garments being traded fairly then this allows direct investment into the farming communities by the community ensuring that these rural regions remain viable for the future while improving education and health for those living there.
The lack of chemicals in the water courses also means cleaner water for surfing and cleaner snow to play in!
